We are so excited to begin another season of outdoor yoga at I-Square! All classes take place on the lawn at I-Square (west of the stage), located at 400 Bakers Park in Irondequoit.

We’ll meet on Tuesdays at 6:00 – 7:00 PM and Saturdays at 9:00 – 10:00 AM.

Amanda, Erin, Heidi, and Kasia will rotate teaching the classes so they’ll vary depending on the teacher. As usual, our goal is to make our classes as accessible as possible. With that said, outdoor classes will require that you be able to get up & down from the ground.

Kasia will be offering a fun & dynamic class that incorporates some novel movements into some traditional shapes to help develop body-mind awareness and embrace our remarkable ability to adapt!

Amanda will be sharing some unique movements to isolate joint range of motion, strength, and mobility, followed by an intentional flow.

Erin will be offering an embodied flow that will explore what it’s like to feel and adjust postures from the inside, rather than how they look on the outside; sharing the importance of choice to feel whole and at home in our bodies.

Heidi will be sharing a dynamic and comprehensive flow class which will include sun salutations, standing and balancing postures, twists, stretches, folds, backbends, and of course, everyone’s favorite…savasana!

We’ll also be offering some special event classes on 1st & 3rd Fridays at 4:30 – 5:30 PM. Erin will be sharing some classes for all ages, including Baby & Me, Kids, Tweens, and Families. Stay tuned to Facebook for more specific details on all our Friday special events!

Please bring your own mat, towel, and/or blanket to practice on, and any other props you wish to use for class. Please bring water if you’ll need it, and be aware that, depending on the day, there may not be access to a bathroom during class. In the case of stormy weather, stay tuned to Facebook and check our calendar; we’ll announce any cancellations at least an hour before class begins.

Class size is limited to 15 participants. Pre-registration is required!

+Pandemic guidelines are still in place at this time. If you prefer to wear a mask you are welcome to do so. We’ll follow proper social distancing guidelines during class so you are not required to wear a mask then.
