Summer 2020 Outdoor Classes
Ready to embrace summer and take your practice outside? We are! We’re offering outdoor yoga on the lawn at I-Square, located at 400 Bakers Park in Irondequoit. Amanda, Kasia, Heidi, & Erin will rotate teaching these classes, so they’ll vary both depending on who teaches and who attends.
Tuesday mornings from 8:00 – 9:00 AM will be an “all levels” class exploring breath & movement to wake up the body. We’ll play with joint range of motion, strength and balance work, and cultivate an awareness of the breath.
Friday evenings from 6:00 – 7:00 PM, Heidi will teach a dynamic open flow vinyasa class designed to include a variety of movements and offer options to layer on challenges in a fun & progressive way. Erin’s Friday class will be a gentle class, akin to her Inner Power Hour studio class, exploring somatics and movement autonomy for a sense of grounding & calming.
Both of these classes will take place on the lawn at I-Square. We ask that you wear a mask when arriving, interacting before class, and when leaving the space. During class, we will follow proper social distancing guidelines so you are not required to wear a mask then.
Please bring your own mat, towel, or blanket to practice on, and any other props you wish to use. Bring water and wear sunscreen if you’ll need it. Please be aware that there is no access to a bathroom during class. Pre-registration is required; class size is limited to 15 participants.
We’ll announce any cancellations due to poor weather at least an hour before class begins. We’ll post on Facebook, as well as notify any individuals who have signed up for class.
